The vision and purpose for NWBC Foundation. Diane created the Foundation simultaneously to enhance her ability to give back and utilize federal and nonfederal grant opportunities, in addition to philanthropic opportunities. Diane has extensive experience writing, planning, and executing federal and nonfederal grants. She knows firsthand the barriers underserved and under-resourced entrepreneurs and nonprofits face, having been awarded a tier 2 Statewide Community Navigator Pilot Program grant from the US Small Business Administration for 2.5 million in 2021 to serve diverse communities.
Her new passion of "Assisting the Inspired", has led to this new launch of a National WBC Network paired with the NWBCN Foundation. She believes in the potential of all women to thrive.
The Foundation will be the conduit to additional technical support to strengthen and increase their ability to serve more women as they start and grow successful businesses and nonprofits of impact.

We are dedicated to fostering an inclusive and equitable nonprofit and entrepreneurial ecosystem that breaks down barriers and promotes economic empowerment for women. Our mission is rooted in the belief that women have the power to drive innovation, create jobs, and strengthen local communities.
Entrepreneurship plays a crucial role in enhancing women's economic empowerment as it offers a pathway for women to overcome social and cultural barriers and become self-reliant. By encouraging women to start their own businesses and nonprofits, they can generate income, create job opportunities for themselves and others, contribute to economic growth, and improve their overall well-being. - Diane Bevan, CEO/Founder
