The NWBCN Foundation is a 501(c)(3) that was established in conjunction with the introduction of the National WBC Network, Inc.
As an organization, we are dedicated to supporting women entrepreneurs, women-led nonprofits, and Women's Business Centers (WBCs) in every way possible. We believe that women are powerful agents of change and that we can create a more equitable world for everyone by empowering them. Therefore, we are on a mission to provide resources, grant opportunities, peer-to-peer mentoring, and networking opportunities to women entrepreneurs and WBCs, regardless of their background or experience level.
The NWBCN Foundation is more than just a nonprofit organization. We are a community of individuals (women and men) committed to breaking down barriers, amplifying voices, and creating opportunities for women entrepreneurs, women-led nonprofits, and WBCs. Our ultimate goal is to promote gender equality and a stronger, more prosperous society, and we will continue to work tirelessly to achieve this vision.
The staff and volunteers of the NWBCN Foundation have a goal to move Women's Business Centers forward. It is no secret that women experience inequities in access to capital, government contracts, and supportive resource communities. It is our goal to change the narratives for women entrepreneurs by empowering Women's Business Centers across the Nation with amplified support and assistance.

We are dedicated to fostering an inclusive and equitable nonprofit and entrepreneurial ecosystem that breaks down barriers and promotes economic empowerment for women. Our mission is rooted in the belief that women have the power to drive innovation, create jobs, and strengthen local communities.
Entrepreneurship plays a crucial role in enhancing women's economic empowerment as it offers a pathway for women to overcome social and cultural barriers and become self-reliant. By encouraging women to start their own businesses and nonprofits, they can generate income, create job opportunities for themselves and others, contribute to economic growth, and improve their overall well-being. - Diane Bevan, CEO/Founder
